Revised: Colbert Landings - Upcoming Curb and Asphalt Work

Published on August 12, 2026 at 7:55 AM

Dear Colbert Landing Residents,

Please be advised that beginning Monday, August 17, Meritage Homes will begin the County-required curb removal, repair, and replacement work within certain areas of Colbert Landing. Meritage expects this work to take approximately 2–4 days, weather permitting. Please note that all curbs requiring repair have been clearly marked with spray paint.

On Monday, August 24, Meritage will install the final lift of asphalt within Phase 1 of Colbert Landing. Residents may drive on the street on the same day it is paved; however, please avoid making sharp turns.

Attached is an exhibit showing the limits of the work highlighted in red. The paving contractor will have at least one lane open at all times and will have MOT (Maintenance of Traffic) set up so residents can safely access the community.

Please be advised that driving on freshly paved asphalt may result in tar being tracked onto driveways, pavers, and other surfaces. We recommend taking appropriate precautions to protect these areas after traveling on newly paved roads.

During both work periods, please make sure all affected areas are clear of vehicles so the repairs can be completed in a timely manner. Any vehicles that are not moved may be subject to towing at the owner's expense.

PLEASE NOTE: This work is being performed by Meritage Homes – NOT the HOA or the CDD.
